Signature of a Memorandum of Understanding between ICD and the Egyptian Government

~~The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on 18/5/2017 between the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), a member of the Islamic Development Bank Group, represented by its CEO and General Manager, Mr. Khalid Mohammed Al-Aboodi, and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt represented by the Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, HE Dr. Sahar Nasr.
Aiming at contributing to the development, investment and financing of projects in the Arab Republic of Egypt within the framework of public-private partnership, and in appreciation of the role of the ICD and the Government aspiration to seek non-traditional financing solutions including Islamic financing solutions and public-private partnerships, this MOU provides the two parties with a general framework for cooperation to implement common plans and achieve common objectives in Egypt.

On this occasion, Mr. Khaled Al-Aboodi emphasized the importance of the relationship between ICD and Egypt. He declared that ICD devotes special importance to participating in the financing of partnership projects between the public and private sectors.
On her part, Dr. Sahar Nasr declared that cooperation between the Government of Egypt and ICD is so important in helping Egypt attract investments and investors to the country and benefit from the legislative, regulatory and technical system of public and private education projects. She also thanked the ICD for her valuable assistance to Egyptian economy.
