The Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) and the Saudi Export-Import Bank Sign a Partnership and Cooperation Agreement

September 4, 2021G (27 Muharram 1443H) - On the sidelines of the Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDBG), held in Tashkent - Uzbekistan from 1st to 4th September 2021, Eng. Saad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khalb, CEO of Saudi Export-Import Bank, and Mr. Ayman Amin Sejiny, CEO of Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), member of the IsDBG, signed a cooperation agreement (Agreement).

The Agreement aims to establish a general framework for the development and cooperation in the field of Shari’ah compliant co-financing, term financing, advisory, financing plans, and other transactions of common interest.

On this occasion, Mr. Sejiny stated that the Agreement aims to implement  ICD’s strategy  to open doors for future cooperation opportunities and policy dialogues between the two institutions in order to enhance Islamic finance / banking services, support private sector development and create job opportunities.
